Features

Liaison Continent offers medical coverage and emergency services to individuals and families (including unmarried dependent child(ren) over 14 days and under 19 years of age) travelling outside their Home Country.

When you incur a covered Injury or Illness, the program will pay the charges for Covered Expenses, excess of the chosen Deductible and Coinsurance, up to the selected Medical Maximum. Liaison Continent also provides coverage if any covered Injury or Illness commences during the Period of Coverage that results in a Medically Necessary Emergency Medical Evacuation or Repatriation.

Liaison Continent also provides Interruption of trip, hospital Indemnity, Incidental Trips to Your Home Country, Follow me home Coverage, coverage for loss of checked luggage as defined in the brochure.

Liaison Continent also provides optional Hazardous Sport coverage to cover motorcycle/motor scooter riding, hang gliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling and snow boarding.

Renewal
Liaison Continent Insurance may be renewed online before the policy expires. Online policies of 5 or more days are eligible for renewal; Policies purchased via fax or mail can be extended if purchased or renewed for 3 months or more. The maximum period the plan can be renewed is 1 year.

Claim Form
Liaison Continent Insurance claims can be submitted by completing and sending the claim form along with the itemized bills within 90 days of receiving the treatment.
Cancellation Policy
Refund of total plan cost will only be considered if written request is received prior to the effective date of coverage. If written request is received after the Effective Date of coverage, the unused portion of the plan cost may be refunded minus a cancellation fee, provided no claim has been submitted for reimbursement.
